Visage will keep you literally in the dark as you explore around the house but do not let the creepiness of the place freak you out too much. In order to win, players will have to actually explore different parts of the house and interact with the objects inside, which will give you clues about the deaths of souls that are haunting the place. It is not going to be easy because the house is a complete mess and, as mentioned, the place is shrouded in darkness. With that said, players should know that being in the dark for too long will cause you to lose your sanity and become more vulnerable to the ghosts in the house. Of course, there will be items that can aid you in keeping yourself in the light. For starters, you will be equipped with candles and a lighter. The house also has lit areas, albeit not for long. Aside from collecting helpful items like light bulbs and keys, things like photos and weird drawings will help you piece the house’s history together. Despite the fear that will probably render you frozen, you must keep moving in search of important items that will keep you alive and away from the murderous grasps of the ghosts.

Get ready for sleepless nights

Throughout the whole game, you will be feeling uneasy, dreadful, and paranoid. The complete and total darkness is not the only thing that will put you on edge but as well as the small sounds you will hear while walking around. Most of the time, you will hear nothing but silence and that is what makes the tiniest noises surprising. One of the cliches you will find in this game are doors that will open and close on their own, objects falling without being touched by anyone, and lights suddenly being turned off. Speaking of which, flickering lights will also give you glimpses of the ghosts that are after you before disappearing completely from sight, making you feel immensely paranoid. Now, the question is are you brave enough to take a quick glance and check if someone is standing behind you?

Terrifyingly realistic

Visage is one of the most frightening horror games that you will get to play. It may have applied the usual jump scares but it is able to creatively twist them in a way that the fear would linger within you throughout the whole game. Its visuals and graphics look exceptionally real and they effectively make Visage remarkably scary.
